Animal Roleplay – Not Allowed
Strictly Prohibited: Roleplaying as animals or using animal player models is not allowed on PHRP under any circumstances.
This includes:
Using animal peds (dogs, cats, birds, etc.)
Roleplaying as pets or wildlife
Acting as service animals or companion animals
Any scenario where you're playing a non-human character
No exceptions will be made – even if you have experience doing animal RP "correctly" on other servers or can provide evidence of quality animal roleplay elsewhere.
Why This Rule Exists:
1. It Doesn't Fit Our Server's Vision: PHRP is focused on creating a realistic, immersive human experience in a living city. Animal roleplay fundamentally breaks that immersion and doesn't align with the type of community and stories we're building here.
2. Quality Control Issues: In our experience across FiveM communities, animal RP is rarely executed in a way that enhances the server. More often than not, it leads to:
Immersion-breaking scenarios
Abuse of mechanics (animals doing things they realistically couldn't)
Disruption of serious roleplay scenes
Frustration from other players trying to engage in human-focused RP
3. Consistency & Fairness: Rather than trying to police "good" vs. "bad" animal RP or create exceptions for certain players, we've decided it's cleaner and fairer to simply not allow it at all. This removes any grey area or perception of favoritism.
What About Pets In RP?
You're welcome to have pets as part of your character's story – just not as actively played characters.
✅ What IS Allowed:
Mentioning that your character owns a dog, cat, or other pet and using the pets script in game.
Referring to your pet in conversation or backstory
NPC animals that exist in the world but aren't actively roleplayed
❌ What Is NOT Allowed:
Actually playing as that animal or using an animal ped
Having another player roleplay your pet
The line: Pets can exist in your character's life as part of their story and through script, but they can't be actively roleplayed by you or anyone else.
Bottom Line:
PHRP is a human-focused roleplay server. We're here to create stories about people, their relationships, conflicts, and experiences in the city. Animal roleplay doesn't serve that vision, and we won't be making exceptions.
Focus your creativity on building compelling human characters – there's more than enough depth there.
