# Combat Logging

### **Combat Logging – Don't Disconnect Mid-RP**

**The Rule:** Once you commit a crime or become involved in an active RP scenario, you **must wait 10 minutes** before logging out of the server.

**Why this rule exists:** Logging out immediately after committing a crime or during active RP (especially to avoid consequences) is exploiting game mechanics. It's unfair to others involved and breaks immersion.

***

### **What To Do If You Disconnect Unintentionally:**

We understand that crashes, internet issues, and technical problems happen. Here's what to do:

**If your game crashes or you disconnect during active RP:**

1. **Try to log back in immediately** – get back in the server as quickly as possible
2. **Explain your situation** to those you were RPing with once you're back
3. **If you can't return within 5 minutes:**
   * Create a ticket in Discord
   * Explain what happened
   * Provide names/information about who you were involved with
   * Staff will notify the affected players and document the situation

**We understand technical issues happen** – just communicate with us. Honesty and transparency go a long way.

***

### **What IS Combat Logging (Not Allowed):**

❌ Logging out immediately after committing a crime to avoid consequences\
❌ Disconnecting during a police chase or active pursuit\
❌ Leaving mid-RP scenario because things aren't going your way\
❌ Rage-quitting when you're losing a fight, getting arrested, or facing repercussions\
❌ Repeatedly "crashing" at convenient times to escape situations

**Pattern Recognition:** One disconnect due to technical issues? We understand. Multiple convenient disconnections during active scenarios? That's abuse.

**Consequences:** Disciplinary action up to and including suspension or ban, depending on severity and intent.
