# ERP
## **ERP (Erotic Roleplay) – Allowed With Strict Limitations**
**Our Stance:** While technically permitted, ERP (Erotic Roleplay) is **strongly discouraged.** We're all adults here, and what you choose to do is ultimately your decision – but we ask that you carefully consider whether it's necessary for your roleplay experience.
**If you choose to engage in ERP, you MUST follow these rules strictly. Violations will result in disciplinary action.**

### **Mandatory Requirements For ERP:**
**1. Privacy Is Non-Negotiable:** Any and all sexually explicit or nude activities **must be conducted in complete privacy** – specifically in your character's apartment, house, or other private interior space.
❌ **Absolutely Prohibited In:**
* Public spaces (streets, parks, beaches, parking lots, etc.)
* Vehicles (even parked or "hidden" ones)
* Semi-public areas (bars, clubs, businesses, back alleys)
* Any location accessible to other players without permission
✅ **Only Allowed In:**
* Private apartments
* Private homes
* Interior spaces that are completely locked and inaccessible to uninvolved players
**Why this matters:** Nobody should be exposed to sexual content without consenting to it. Public ERP forces unwilling participants into uncomfortable situations and violates their boundaries.

**2. Streaming Is Absolutely Forbidden:**
**DO NOT stream ERP on any platform. Period.**
This includes:
* Twitch
* YouTube
* Kick
* Facebook Gaming
* Discord streaming
* Any other streaming or recording platform
**Why this is critical:**
* Violates most platforms' Terms of Service (risking bans for you AND the server)
* Creates legal and reputational risks for the entire community
* Exposes viewers (potentially including minors) to adult content inappropriately
**If you stream regularly:** Either fade to black, end your stream, or simply don't engage in ERP. There is no exception to this rule.
**Consequences:** Streaming ERP will result in immediate disciplinary action, up to and including permanent ban.

**3. In-City Social Media – Keep It Clean:**
Social media platforms within the city **must remain free of sexual content.**
❌ **Prohibited:**
* Discussion of sexual activities
* Implications or references to sexual encounters
* Sexually explicit posts, images, or messages
* Innuendos or "subtle" references to ERP scenarios
✅ **Allowed:**
* Flirting or romantic posts (kept PG-13)
* Relationships
* General adult humor (nothing explicitly sexual)
**The standard:** If you wouldn't post it on a real social media platform without getting flagged, don't post it in-city.

### **Why We Discourage ERP (But Allow It):**
Let's be real: ERP often becomes a distraction from meaningful roleplay and can create uncomfortable dynamics within the community. It can:
* Replace actual character development with surface-level interactions
* Create drama and jealousy between players
* Make others uncomfortable when it bleeds into public spaces or general RP
* Shift focus away from the diverse storylines we're trying to build
**That said:** We're adults. We recognize that romantic and intimate relationships can be part of character storylines. We won't police what consenting adults do in private spaces, but we ask that you exercise judgment and discretion.
**Consider these alternatives:**
* Fade to black and imply what happened
* Focus on the emotional/relationship aspects rather than explicit content
* Build compelling romantic storylines without needing explicit scenes
**Most compelling love stories don't require explicit content.** Focus on chemistry, tension, and emotional depth instead.

Note that even in private a moderator may stumble upon your scene while spectating. Moderators should immediately move on if the scene is in private, but you will never be guaranteed that someone doesn't see your scene.

**The Bottom Line:**
If you're going to engage in ERP:
1. Keep it **private** (locked interiors only)
2. **Never stream it**
3. Keep it **off in-city social media**
4. Be respectful of others who don't want to be involved
**Break these rules, and you'll face consequences.** We're trusting you to be responsible adults. Don't make us regret that trust.
*When in doubt, fade to black. Your character's depth comes from their personality, choices, and relationships – not explicit content.*
