Specific Staff Duties

Remember any in city moderation should be handled by someone on a staff character.

General Duties:

  • Guiding the city's direction, aligning with the vision set by the Senior Staff.

  • Help shape new roleplay avenues to enhance the city.

  • Provide examples of great roleplay at all times.

  • Engage in conversations with newcomers and members alike to help everyone feel included and welcome.

  • Collaborate within our staff teams not only with each other but with other teams to help get the answer a member might need.

  • Avoid interrupting scenes unless there is a serious offense requiring immediate removal from the city, which must be approved by a Senior Administrator. RP coaching should happen within the ticket system or via Discord VCs, not in city.

  • Assist liaisons in tracking the things that need to be tracked.

Discord Duties:

  • Acknowledge tickets promptly and maintain active communication about the status of the ticket.

  • Ensure timely acceptance of applications, aiming to integrate new players into the city within 24 hours of their acceptance.

  • Maintain a positive attitude when dealing with members who have answered questions incorrectly and give them ample time to understand and correct their answers.

  • Possess thorough knowledge of DRP Rules and be competent in discussing and enforcing these rules among the player base.

  • Promptly add all disciplinary actions to the discipline tracker.

Media Duties:

  • Ensure that streams accurately represent the city's roleplay, showcasing it as intended by the city's vision and standards.

  • Help moderate and maintain a positive and engaging atmosphere in stream chats, fostering a welcoming and enjoyable community environment.

  • Verify that streams adhere to the guidelines established by DRP.

  • Offer assistance to streamers with setup, including hardware recommendations and technical advice, to optimize their streaming quality and performance.
