Etiquette

IN CITY / RP

DRP staff members are expected to model the vision for our city. We cannot expect our community to adhere to the guidelines and regulations, if staff is not doing so. This also means to RP first, report later.

Furthermore, it includes, stopping or voiding scenes, pulling people aside for coaching in city, dropping in on people as staff, breaking RP and speaking OOC. Unless the act is truly egregious such as sexual harassment, racial slurs, extreme RDM/VDM, all scenes should continue, and any infractions be reported through our ticket system.

IN CITY MODERATION

Use of Staff Characters

All staff members, from Administration and below, must utilize designated Staff characters for any tasks, duties, or responsibilities that fall outside the scope of regular roleplay. This policy ensures a clear separation between roleplay characters and operational staff roles, maintaining the integrity of roleplay and preventing conflicts of interest.

Staff characters should only be used for tasks directly related to staff duties, such as investigations, assisting players, development work or enforcing rules. Under no circumstances should staff characters be used to gain an advantage in roleplay or interfere with the in-character narrative.

Adhering to this rule fosters transparency, maintains roleplay immersion, and reinforces the professional boundaries required for effective server management.

PROPER 919 USE

Some staff positions come with access to the 919 menus. Access to this feature is for staff purposes only. This is not meant to teleport/spectate friends, spawn items for personal use, “run names” or give yourself any sort of advantage or workaround.

There are staff logs and 919 logs where all your actions are monitored. Misuse of the 919 can lead to and not limited to 919 removals, in city suspension, removal from staff.

919 is the only access you will have in regard to admin powers, you will not have TX Admin or other admin menu access.

DIRECT MESSAGING

Direct messaging with the community about in city issues is strictly prohibited. ANYTHING that is DRP related must be addressed in the proper channels or tickets for documentation purposes.

Utilize your chain of command. If you do not see results, you can open a staff complaint ticket and request the Senior Administrator to review your issue.
