Expectations & Duties
CONFIDENTIALITY
As a DRP Staff member, the expectation is that you maintain the confidentiality of all staff only communications with staff only and within the appropriate staff level. NOTHING should ever leave staff discussion and be shared with the community let alone with anyone outside of our community. This includes, staff complaints, harassment reports, disciplinary actions, etc. Just because you have visibility of a ticket or channel, does not mean you have free access to communicate what you read or see. Failure to adhere to the confidentiality expectation, will be an immediate removal from staff and the DRP community.
ACCOUNTABILITY
As an DRP Staff member, the expectation is that you are accountable for your actions, you hold yourself to a higher standard than that of the rest of the community and you are completing the tasks set before you to the best of your abilities.
DEPENDABILITY
As a DRP Staff member, the expectation is that you are reliable to complete your tasks and in a timely manner, attend meetings and stay informed, and help carry out the vision of DRP. DRP staff may be members on other servers, but staff members will not hold dual server staff roles, this includes helping develop other servers.
FLEXIBILITY
As a DRP Staff member, the expectation is that you are able to complete tasks that are outside of your normal responsibilities and at times “active hours” if needed, you adapt to changes easily and you help implement the changes smoothly within the community.
RESPONSIBILITY
As a DRP Staff member, the expectation is that you are aware and responsible for the duties of the staff position that you hold. You are not negligent or doing the bare minimum but fully meeting the expectation of your role.
This is an overall expectation for each staff member position with DRP. Each department and position have its own set expectations which you will see outlined in the appropriate section of this guide.
