0️Zero-Tolerance Rule
PHRP is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all members. The following behaviors have ZERO TOLERANCE and will result in immediate disciplinary action, up to and including permanent bans.
Zero Tolerance is very serious, for that reason we ask that you supply us with proof of the incident. See our reporting guidelines for more information
Sexual Misconduct & Assault:
Absolutely Prohibited – No Exceptions:
Rape roleplay of ANY nature is permanently banned – even with explicit consent from all parties involved. Both participants will be permanently banned without the ability to appeal.
Roleplaying any form of sexual assault (non-consensual touching, groping, coercion, etc.) is strictly forbidden.
Sexual harassment of any degree, at any time, whether in-game, in Discord, or through direct messages.
All reports of sexual misconduct will be:
Taken with the utmost seriousness
Investigated thoroughly by Senior Administration
Handled with confidentiality and care for those involved
There are no warnings for these violations. This is non-negotiable.
Sexually Explicit Language – Know The Line:
Not Allowed:
Directed sexually explicit insults – using sexual language to degrade, shame, demean, or insult a specific player OOC.
Sexual harassment disguised as "banter" – if it's making someone uncomfortable, it's not okay. If they ask you to stop, then stop.
Sexually explicit language targeting another player in a way meant to attack or humiliate that person OOC.
Allowed (Context Matters):
General use of adult language or sexual terms in appropriate, non-targeted roleplay scenarios (e.g., discussing relationships, adult humor between consenting participants)
Crude humor that isn't directed at demeaning a specific person
The Key Difference: Are you using sexual language as part of natural conversation/roleplay, or are you weaponizing it to hurt, embarrass, or harass someone OOC? The latter will result in severe disciplinary action.
Please note that name calling is not immediately considered sexual harassment. In order for the standard of in-character sexual harassment to be met you must have clearly asked a player to stop because they are making you uncomfortable. Their failure to stop will result in the IC interaction crossing the line.
Remember because this is roleplay it can be hard to distinguish a persons genuine intentions. So while it is easy to police OOC behaviors and interactions, it is harder to do IC. Therefore the clear line is asking someone to stop and them refusing to do so.
If your roleplay is edgy, racy, or can be considered sexual in nature and you are asked by another player to stop speaking to them the way you are, then stop, find your way out of the scene or readjust your engagement. Continuing the interaction in the same manner after being asked to stop will result in a zero tolerance violation.
Hate Speech & Discriminatory Language:
Strictly Prohibited:
Racial slurs or racially charged language of any kind, in any context
Transphobic or homophobic slurs, terms, or language
Discrimination based on: race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability
Hate speech or derogatory language targeting any protected group or individual
Our Stance: We do not take these situations lightly. This community was built to be inclusive and welcoming to everyone. Using slurs, hate speech, or discriminatory language – even "as a joke" or "in character" – is unacceptable and undermines everything we're building here.
Each report will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by Senior Administration. Context matters, but impact matters more. If your words harm someone, there will be consequences.
Reporting & Investigation Process:
If you experience or witness any of the above behaviors:
Report immediately – open a ticket as soon as the scene is over and you can get away to open the ticket. Don't wait days, don't wait hours, finish the scene and report.
Your report will be taken seriously – we investigate every claim thoroughly and confidentially.
You will be protected – retaliation against anyone who reports misconduct is also a bannable offense
Action will be swift – violations of these policies result in immediate consequences
We believe survivors. We support victims. We protect our community.
Why These Rules Exist:
This isn't about limiting roleplay or being overly sensitive. This is about basic human decency and respect. PHRP is a place where people come to escape, create stories, and have fun. Nobody should have to endure harassment, hate speech, or sexual misconduct while trying to enjoy a game.
We're building a community where everyone feels safe. Full stop.
If you have questions about where the line is, ask staff. If you're unsure whether something is appropriate, it probably isn't. When in doubt – don't.
