I can't connect to the city, it says it is in private mode and the button is disabled.

You need to connect to the city using the F8 console, see Connecting to the City for more information.

How do I clear my cache?

First let's be clear. Clearing your client game cache is not the fix all that everyone is always telling you it is, it's like the old "Have you turned it off and back on?" or even older "Have you given it a good smack?" troubleshooting tips. It's often given as a way for those helping to put the issue off until later in hopes that the issue resolves. However, there are times when it is important to clear your cache and when that happens you can refer to this video.

How do I verify my game files?

Steam

1. Launch Steam.

2. Go to your Steam Game Library.

3. Right-click on GTA V

4. Click on Properties.

5. On the next window, click on ‘Local Files’.

6. Click on ‘Verify the integrity of game files…’

7. Done!

Epic Games

1. Launch the Epic Games Launcher

2. On the left menu panel, click on Library

3. Click on the three dots (…) beside Grand Theft Auto

4. Click on Verify

5. Done!

I just installed GTA V Enhanced Edition, but I can't get into the city!

GTA V Enhanced edition is not yet supported by FiveM, you must currently use the Legacy edition of the game to play FiveM. While there are plans to make it support Enhanced Edition in the future there is no timeline. We also know that when it happens cities will have to choose between enhanced edition and legacy edition as the two will not be compatible. You will need to uninstall GTA V Enhanced and install Legacy.
